I flew civilian fixedwing charter and instruction in the mid 60's out of Mineral Wells. The Army had a 37 used for medivac---yes medivac.  Had to be the most expensive medivac ever.  When I went back a couple of years later for flight school it was gone.  

I flew PHI Pumas in the early and mid seventies, the 37's made a lot more noise.
