It depends on your quals.

Do you have an ATP?  How about multi-engine time?  ATP and A139 time will open a lot of doors domestically and overseas that pay pretty well.  Without those, you're looking at a hard road to travel.

Overseas gigs come with additional bonus of the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (and maybe the Foreign Housing Allowance), whichs helps you retain more of that pay.
