Original Message I can only speak from my own personal experience but base salaries have done better than 3% a year, and I'm at one of the major HAA operators. Does that mean we got at least 3% every year? No. Sometimes we got 3, sometimes 0, sometimes 6+.
Salaries don't exist in a bubble. If companies can't pay a living wage and attract pilots they will surely make changes, or fold. By the very nature of compounding the numbers get bigger the further on you go. $300k sounds outrageous now, just like $130k for a vfr single probably sounded pretty outlandish 30 years ago in 1993. |
