We're taught from hour zero to land and takeoff into the wind. But after we get our ratings we begin to disregard such silliness. And mostly we get away with it. Until one day we don't. For that hapless Astar pilot, that day finally came. We can imagine the (short) carpet dance that he had to do with the CP, as they both watched the incriminating video. And now we wonder where he'll be working next.
