Could have carried a few more between the crewchief seats (our survival gear box was strapped down between them so someone could have sit on it) and the pilot seats if necessary (which it wasn't, but that space can easily fit 3-4 people). Coast guard pilots have serious ballz. Friend of mine who transferred there said their mins are 1/4 mile visibiilty (no ceiling restriction). |
