Military flying is not the same as civilian flying!  You are put in very difficult situations flying at night with goggles or a FLIR system in tight formations! Quite often you are avoiding enemy fire in hostile territoru! No comparison to the civilian side which I flew for 30 years! Okay you anti-military goons let's hear it!
