There is a major shortage of pilots. Military isn't supplying any because most companies require 2000 hours and Military guys don't have the hours. Flight school is to expensive for rotorwing when you can go fixedwing and make triple the pay. Smatest thing my company did was add $40,000.00 retention bonus if you stay 3 years. Keeps pilots from jumping ship. After 3 years a lot will be looking for more money. Only solution is drones for ems transports. It's coming!
