When Med Trans pulled out of our region they gave the pilots 6 weeks notice. Anyone pilot who stayed on till the end got a 5K bonus plus the option for severance and unemployment, or to transfer to any open position they had across the country. That helped relieve the stress of my base closing and made my a fanboy.
