I have been wait for someone to file suit against the union and AMC for the illegal contract. There is a clause which prohibits hiring any pilot over 70.  That clause is patenty illegai. Curious as to why noone has fought it. 
Before someone jumps on and says it is ok because it is an agreement between two consenting parties, the agreement may not circumvent the law.  If you can pass a class 2 medical and complete training you may not be denied employment.
