LifeNet in AZ had a base located at a Tucson Northwest Fire station for a while.  I don't remember too much drama, but I only did occasional workovers there.  There was one day though that a Fire Captian came into the quarters and saw me in shorts and "comfy shoes."  He told me to put my flight suit on and I asked him if we had a flight.  He said "no" but that I needed to be ready incase we got one,  When I said it would take like 10 seconds to put my flight suit and (zip up) boots on if we got a call he got p 1 s s y and "demanded" I put them on.  BTW, he wasn't in all his FF gear, but I digress.  I told him I was a bit confused and asked him if I worked for him.  He stormed off in a huff.  10 or 15 minutes later I get a call from the head shed asking me what happened.  I explained my side of the story.  The Program Director asked me to be sure to be in full "uniform" if I went into the fire house.  "No problem."  I NEVER went into their quarters!
