There's Questions / Drama about everything.

Are you pitching in for the firehouse meal?  If you make your own food, did you make enough for everybody?  You end up cooking at odd hours.  Did you do your share of the cleaning or do a good enough job?  Did you pitch in for the condiment fund this month?  Why are you sitting on your butt watching Netflix?  Firemen work around the station until 5pm.  It's endless.

and regardless whatever relationship your program has with the department, the firemen still resent you being there.  You're not trusted.
