When I first started working for RMH in 2000 they used to pay you for workover shifts on the last paycheck of the following month.  A couple of savy medical folks finally got fed up with trying to get them to do it right and made a complaint with the AZ Dept of Labor.  Come to find out, AZ law was that you had to be paid for OT on the next check, or NLT 2 weeks from when the OT was worked.  RMH sure was POed that someone had complained.  THey were pretty sure who, but couldn't prove it.  If they could have I'll bet the folkd would have been pestered until they left.

BTW, they also didn't count any additional duty pay, Lead Pilot, Safety Officer, Lead RN, etc. for the purposes of OT (and we weren't getting time and a half yet either).  So, in some cases, mine as Lead Pilot for example, an OT shift was actually less than a regular shift.  No granted, the LP pay was like $100 a month, so it wasn't acually a lot of $$, but right is still right, and that was wrong.
