>You'll drop to $76K the first year (all the majors do this), then you'll make $113K your second year, $132K year three... then the pay just gets crazy stupid after that for THE REST OF YOUR CAREER.
If you ever just do ONE extra flight a month (i.e., workover for you HAA guys) your jaw will drop at what you can make in those intervening years until the pay goes crazy and you can start bidding on GREAT work schedules.
Next time you're at the airport and get a chance to talk to a an airline pilot at the majors, ask them what the company puts in their 401K without even requiring a match. It's insane.
