I agree to a point. Part of the reason we should have better pay and benefits are to attract the right kind of person, mentally to this kind of work. In this job, like many other jobs, has a extremely high responsibility level with no room for mistakes. Unlike a race car driver or aerobatic pilot, when they screw up they take out one person. If we screw up, we take out a lot more, same goes for airlines, 100-300 pax, you get good money for that responsibility.
