Brilliant? GMR's significant bumps in pay are mainly incentives and not salaries. Incentives are easily turned off after a market correction. Enjoy them whilst they are there. I feel keeping an eye on the no surprises act status is a good idea and perhaps more import to consider when making career moves. GMR's, and other HAA subscription based programs, are in jeopardy. They will, more than likely, be unable to sustain the pilot and mechanic pay increases when the act passes. Nobody knows the final outcome as the act is still in play. As a fellow HAA pilot, I am concerned that the company I work for has a business model that will survive the act's fallout. The HAA industry is overly saturated. The majority of revenue comes from Medicaid. Subscription based HAA business models, like GMR's, will be in trouble...goodbye incentives.
