Retention is awful across the board. Nearly 60% turnover rate on the medical side and 140+ pilot openings. Area Managers that haven’t a clue how to run aviation operations and are more than willing to throw safety and regulations out the window to avoid out of service time. Aviation managers have placed so much pressure to fly, it’s through the roof, while safety appears to look the other way. Maintenance can’t keep up on the scheduling and so many aircraft are operating on one extension or another. Nothing gets done on time. “Do more with less” seems to be the mentality. It certainly isn’t the company it was ten years ago.
