Ya, and there is a doctor shortage too! should we lower the standards for surgeons! Let those 18-25 year olds operate on us?  I think not!  Look, the aviation industry has done this to itself.  It's taken the better part of 50 years to get to this problem.

Unless enough people walk away from the bad pay they are offering, nothing and I mean NOTHING will change!

It really cracks me up when of all places Wal-Mart is training their own truck drivers and paying them in the 80K range!  Also, an article came out yesterday that Wal-Mart is now going to train college grades to become store managers and pay them 200K a year!!!!  Why put up with paying all that money to learn to fly, get paid crap and then oh ya, just lost my medical...can't use that 100k aviation training in anything else!
