Original Message Well first the thread was about 206L4 and it wandered some but never got away from from LONG Rangers. Now you post "There was at one time a 206BII. It was a flop and discontinued. " and that was a untrue statement too. The " 206BII" was the same 206B (400 horsepower C20) with a new more compact panel. It worked well and all till the put a C20B or J (420 HP)and called it Macaroni... no they called it a 206BIII They also made a few 206BII with a C20R 450 horsepower, still a 206BIII Back to Long Rangers the L4 has higher temperature limits and that gives to performance figures a boost over a L3. Minor other improvements too.
