With the vast amount of pilot openings (primarily in EMS but everywhere has them), do you really think all these companies are going to fork over the money (plus sign-on bonuses) to hire all those people AND consider paying all the rest of you even more?

Pipe-dream guys.  Increased pays are a definite possibility for new-hires but if you've been with a company more than a year don't believe the rumors.

Also, be fore-warned: supposed "stipends" given RARELY last more than a few years.  Once the base is filled the stipend goes away (unless it's one of those really far out bases that nobody lives near; that's different).

If you're junior with a company and you see an opening somewhere else you like I'd jump on it as you'll probably get paid more than you are now.

If you're mid-level on your pay scale and want a serious increase consider getting your airplane ratings as there's WAY more financial potential there.
