Yes, it is strong and lightweight, but voids still happen and it requires specialized training to patch and repair. Problems arise when maintenance techs try to make repairs using fiberglass and aluminum honeycomb repair schemes. Doubt many field mechs have been given this training and end up making a small problem worse when completed.
