There was a fatal crash a few years back, fixed wing, where the NTSB found out the pilots were receiving compensation for grounding conditions without reporting the conditions to the FAA.  Now we all have a few extra boxes to check every year.  If it's grounding, you're grounded and should have lied about it when you claimed with the VA, not now with the FAA.
