Or did he flair way high and then fall out of the sky?  Or was it poor camera angle and/or recording?  If he did, he zeroed his airspeed before impact, but another poster would be right that there would most likely have been a broken back because of the tremendous fall.  Havent heard the condition of the people but hope all are okay.
