Message Always seems like bored pilots reply to these maintenance questions with no idea what they're talking about!
PHi has a good traiining team,(i currently work for PHI). They do all their own training, except maybe the EC145 since they only have a few. One thing they dont do is engine courses as most of the engine work is minor maintenance or complete engine replacement
If you end up working somewhere else after PHI most companies are ok with non-manufacturers training and only require "formal training"
so unless you really want to spend 10k at Bell or Airbus PHI are a good place to go. (Ive done Bell, Airbus, and Flight Safety airframe courses and they're all hit or miss).
