Message good advice but remember the big difference with respect to flying environment. Helicopters may be low and slow but the diversity of jobs, mostly carried out VMC, are a far cry from staring at an instrument panel for the next 30-40 years at altitude with little to no total kinesthetic feedback. Aka, it gets boring, really fast.
Boils down to how much you want to get paid. BTDT. Prefer helicopter VMC work but made use of the airline money. Perhaps 20 years in an Airline then off to have fun.
