Guy is a Jerk, besides being a Clown. Can't hit the target means: Too Much Gun. He should be banned from hunting until he completes a Hunter Education Course and Basic Marksmanship Training and can qualify to hit a Deer target at 100 yards with a real deer rifle, i.e., a .30-30.

Any Jerk that takes a .50 BMG to a Deer stand is attempting to compensate for something else that is small. Get it?
