it is a lot of fun to skateboard on streets and freeways too, but it's hazardous to all parties involved/present and it's not legal because of that.

It's tragic that the paraglider lost his life but it is a risk he accepted with his chosen sport. 

It is far more tragic that another individual was killed while he was just doing his job in a responsible manner.
