From whence does the electricity to power the charging stations come?  Coal?  Nope!  Nuclear?  Nope!  Hydro?  Nope!   The communitsts are militantly against coal fired electrical generating plants.  We haven't built a nuclear plant in 40-plus years.  In fact, we have shut a few down (San Onofre).  There is a lot of talk about removing hydro-electric dams so we can save the fish.  What happens when you increase demand for electricity in the face of reduced production?  Ask the people of California about their rolling brownouts.
