Then those leads should be called out for it. I very often feel responsibility to cover open shifts at my base, but definitely not due to self serving. I'd much rather be home. Metro's policies are spelled out pretty well in the handbook and I've been called out by payroll for approving overtime days without an accompanying time off request etc... So how these leads are getting away with crap like this I don't understand. Maybe I just have too much integrety then and I would never purposefully screw over the guys at my base.
