Message I don't know if on the local side it happens but working for Medtrans which is owned by GMR and GMR owns reach it's a non issue. Medtrans views you turning into a pumpkin at 14 hours, duty time turn downs if they are not very obvious might get a text from your regional manager who is just checking the box on his side and doesn't give you grief. If I do a duty time turn down I just send him text with a heads up and I get a thumbs up and that's the end of it. No expectations of hotels, I've run into that because I get stuck from weather but even then our service area is small enough an ambulance picks us up and back to base. The next pilot gets a ride from base to aircraft to bring it back.
