From what you say, recommendation had been made by the FAA.  If no action on there part keep working.  Talk to no one about it except legal council.  If they have not asked you too surrender your license you have not lost your license.  The Feds are pretty much in lockdown due to Covid so its probably still hanging over your head and a suspension notice could be forthcoming.
