Message With a 30° bank restriction knowing if you exceed it you will get a letter in your file and or up to termination. There will be a time that a pilot needs to avoid some birds and he's going to be more concerned about exceeding his bank angle than he is the actual avoidance and it will cause an accident and kill somebody due to micromanagement from metro. It will be a situation where the pilot thinks that 30° bank angle that has been drilled into his head will be sufficient to avoid the mishap and BAM he hits the birds.. it will happen. We've all seen this kind of thing happened many many many times in the past due to micromanagement imposing pressures.
