You've obviously never worked around a paint crew offshore.  Or a normal crew at some of the production platforms.  

Airline life is much easier and more fiscally rewarding than any offshore gig.  The worst hotel I've stayed at is many times better than the best bunkhouse or offshore crew quarters.
