First six months at Metro is VFR. On 7th month you will do your IFR ride and can expect a $5,000 bump in pay if you pass. 

So if you think you are worth $95,000 a year and negotiate that amount at the interview, they will start you at $90,000 and bump to $95,000 after 6 months.

Good company, good training but hard to get money out of for additional duties such as OT etc, Be sure what your contract says before you sign on the line. If you don't need bennies at Metro you can get another $5K, but bennies there are very good.
