i did it for 10 years. Watched the medics run if 20+ pilots, several mechanics mostly for no good reasons. The ones selling ems as a "retirement gig" are right. It will force you into unemployment at some point. Bait and switch hiring practices are the norm. It is in my opinion something you should bypass.
