Original Message

Earlier today, I and another Union member were standing on the street, not on Era property, simply handing fliers to mechanics as they were coming into work. A short while later, a gentleman drove up in an Airport Authority pickup and told us that Era doesn't want us harassing their employees. (As if handing them a flier was harassment) We thanked him and left.

Why, if management truly cared about what's right and fair for the employees, and if the union is truly as bad as they claim, won't they let us talk to the employees on the street? We were told they have had several meetings, as recently as yesterday, about how to vote, why being in a union is bad, etc.

They clearly only want the Era employees to hear one side, but claim they want everyone to make an informed decision. If you make a decision based on only one bit of evidence, is that a legitimately informed choice? I think not.
