Been around 75 years.  Worked pretty much everywhere my generation worked with helicopters.  I've never seen the lack of respect, lawlessness and a Government/media that can't do anything but muster propaganda both right and left anywhere and to this degree before.  The Op is right, there is something afoot and no its not just you.  

To the guy with a Bloomberg terminal, if that is your denominator of our economy, your not looking in the right place.
