That's a lot of work over, and time away from family, not including the 2180 hours you sat a base on top of all that overtime.

Plus you don't get retirement matching, plus you don't get free flights around the world, plus you have to fuel your own aircraft, wash your own aircraft, wash your windows, etc.

When was the last time a professional pilot in fixed wing did all that.... oh wait... for low wages.

 

Plus they are getting raises that keep up with inflation, while ALL HELICOPTER PILOTS are losing out.
