Mercy - Practicing settling with powergot into SWP really bad with an excessive rate of decent nose pointing nearly straight down and using the stupid Vouchard recovery method. MR came into contact. Duke- Quite possibly a hydraulic issue but it's not mentioned in the report as it was completely destroyed and can't prove otherwise. Possible hard over or hydraulic lock. Excessive maneuvers is suspected. I was wondering the same thing and did some digging. 2 completely different incidents unrelated.
