I used to live offshore for my hitch. A young pilot once asked me, in all seriousnes, "What happens if you wake up in the morning and you're sick?" I laughed and said you get up, put your pants on and you go fly. There were no spare pilots that could be sent out to cover my job while I slept or watched movies in the tv room with a comforting cup of hot tea. You man-up, you take whatever meds you need to take (approved or not), and you do the friggin' job. If you're worried about jet-lag, you're probably in the wrong business.
