There has'nt been an industry unionized that didn't deserve a union due to the companies treatment of employees. The helicopter industry is a perfect example. The wages and conditions being experienced today are a direct result of the formation of unions, even if the company you work for isn't unionized. I've being in this profession for 30 years. The improvements in pay and benefits are tied directly to the establishment of pilot unions.
