Just when you think it can't get any more stupid, someone shines !! the solution is simple:  unbuckle the incapacitated pilot open the door and throw him out.  He's probably dead anyway because he was a gumpy old guy.  Next one of the current computer Flite simulator med types just crawl up front and fly back to base.  Anyone can fly a helicopter, they do it all the time on TV ! 

 I think crawl, walk, run should be modified to read as "bend over and kiss your azz goodbye".
