Why would you want to give 1% of your pay to a union that doesn't do anything for you? Go somewhere else and keep it for yourself and invest it.

12 years or so ago Jeff S. was the president of the union or at least up there. He got canned. Did the union do anything for him? Nope. 1 % of his pay vanished into thin air.
