I like progressives for day shift, but don't like how they work with the NVGs.

I stick wth bifocals at night with the line set up high at panel height. Prefer intermediate distance on the bottom vs close reading prescription. Took me a few years to sort it out and some arm twisting of the opticians, but they work pretty good.
