to comment I think you are right.  Any business that allows chrapppp to occur as in HAA will always lose personnel when the other side of the fence is significantly more stable, and lucrative.  People leave bad people, not necessarily what they love and enjoy.  People make the difference in both directions.  

Med people come from all backgrounds.  If in their education they were enlightened how to get along with everyone rather than how to avoid getting in to trouble, which teaches how to get others in to trouble, there might be a solution to the problem.  Another reality is HAA med crews tend to think they are the customer.  Not true.  If they were, they would pay the bills - they don't, not even remotely close.  The patient is responsible for generating payment for services, alone or through insurance.

No clue how HAA med crews become such difficult people to get along with, and it may be the conflict for control with pilots, but, each has their wheel house.  Best to stick to it.
