OP, I think you posted this mostly because you're bored, but yeah... you actually help drive home a really good point. I think many pilots out there who deal with toxic medcrew (and no... most medcrew aren't the toxic people we make that community out to be...but all it takes is one to bring down and totally kill base morale and camaraderie) think they're going to fix said toxic medcrew by educating them. And yeah... as you note, this only results in a medcrew member who knows just enough to be dangerous and throw their coworkers under the bus. Anyways, come to the dark side and fly jets. Yeah you won't be home quite as much. And yeah, you're gonna work your @$$ off, at least at first. But when you are home, you're home. You're not picking up the phone when your boss calls and needs you to cover a shift. You're not spending a day of your "day off" recovering from a week of flying from BFE to BFE at 02:30. And you're not dealing with medcrew who know more about flying than their pilots. Embrace the Dark Side, (prior) fellow HEMS pilots. It is your DESTINY. If I can do it, any idiot can.
