Ignore all of the crap repliers! I fly quite often to a Colorado Ranch at night! The Boss arrives at the main Airport in his Private Jet then I fly the 44 miles to the Ranch!! There are numerous Mountains along the route and at the destination! Like you I manufactured a VFR GPS aprroach to safely get me into the Ranch! In ADDITION I Use ANVS-9 NVGs! Never had a problem!!
