I flew with BHH prior to AMC buying them. Averaged around $100K per year(including tips). However, I flew around 900-1000 hrs per year there. And the cost of living ate most of that up. Went to AMC in the mid-west flying single engine VFR. First year at $70,000 base with about $10K extra working on days off. Cost of living dirt cheap but it was OK. Flew 158 hours the first year.  This was all about 10 years ago. So, each has it's plus and minus.  And totally different flying.
