If you think GMR has a leg up on AMC because of no union, I think you would be wrong. For many years AMC led with pay and all the non union companies follower. Now that AMC is in a bad way financially they struggle to increase pay because the shareholders will splitt and make things worse. GMR was losing tons of money for all the bases that were not taking flights due to pilot shortages. Right now GMR is the place to be with the new pay increases. Soon the other companies will catch up and it will be business as normal.

GMR announced 14% increase (11% plus usual 3% annual) in next check.

$5000 bonus paid end of July for current pilots.

$35K more to be paid through Jan 2026 if you stay with GMR.

Stipends for training, float, strike teams etc from $3500-12000 per year.

High cost of living / hard to fill payments and more.

If you hire on with GMR you get a $15K sign on payment and if a GMR employee recommends you they get $10K

I'm looking at a 25% increase in pay this year which will stop me jumping ship at the end of next month.
