I've used a Gallet and EVO my entire "helmet" career.  I can't use Gentex, they are solid junk.  Both my Gallet and EVO have been great.  My EVO fits better because of the liner I had originally put in it.  I've liked my EVO much more because of the ANR (a must) and the bluetooth (music and phone calls) .  I can't tell a difference in helmet shell quality or weight etc.  Any route you go, it still hurts $$
