Flew Blackhawks in the army and had no idea I could just walk into the FSDO and show them that I was a Blackhawk PIC and they gave me a S-70 type rating Easy Peezy.   Just had to complete the IACRA.   Do not have an ATP so they issued it at the commercial level. I'll probably never use it or never need it but hey that's an easy free type rating. It's my first.
